Bold Bright & Beautiful

Looking through July's issue of Country Living magazine i found lots of inspiration for projects. Love the bright yet elegant colour palette. I have taken this trend and taken some colours to personalise my little old rocking chair that has been sat in my bedroom for a while.

Mood and colour palette i created....

Me & Maria with our little shop :) really pleased

Becoming more unique...

we decided we wanted to become that little bit different than everybody else to give that unique touch. So we decided to create our own screens and print patterns, mine included funky fair, Daisy the Dolly & spotty dotty just a simple spot for pockets/small things, the photo above is just of our design on the print table just been printed.

Daisy the Dolly print originally came from a drawing i did from my sister's old china dolly in her room. Love this design, simple yet different.

Design Styling

I created a trend brief for autumn/winter 2010, taken inspiration from a french cheateau giving a vintage feel. colour palette- a range of soft pastels with a cream base.

just some paintings in different colour arrangements for my final mug design....
