Botanical Candy

My next project is based on 50's retro prints, i am going to create a couple of fabric lengths and hoping to cover my 50's cocktail chair which i am really excited about!
I found lots of inspiration at the V&A gallery shop with lots of old vintage prints full of roses and daises!

Pastel passion

While in Manchester Selfridges a new display caught my eye, love the shurbet shades....

I picked up the new Feb issue of Vogue, which on the front cover models a 1950's housewife, inside there was full of inspirational colours and trends for 2012 my favorite was the 1950's retro hollywood dreaming with their endless blue skies gave the mouthwatering pastel palette of pistashio ice cream, rasberry sorbet and lemon sherbet mixed with a dolly mixture of shades.
